Greetings friends and family and I want to share this moment to reach out to you with Christmas best wishes from Wide Smiles for All Through Education Charity. I want to share the same opportunity to invite your support towards the establishment of a school in rural Uganda, but this time round by even shopping with us from our unique Wide Smiles For All Through Education marked greeting cards.
The cover of our cards which come in a variety of illustrations is selected from Uganda’s conservation and is designed from an ancient craft of the Baganda people from the Buganda kingdom. The Natal fig tree’s bark is carefully peeled, treated in boiling water, pounded down with a mallet, and stretched and dried.
The trees are then wrapped for protection and recover their bark for more harvests. Importantly to note: The Mutuba [Natal fig tree] is listed as a UNESCO intangible cultural heritage. By buying this card you will have directly supported the work of constructing a school in a remote district of Gomba in Central Uganda. We want ambassadors (volunteers) everywhere on the globe to whom we can send hundreds from our collections and then distribute to those willing to support this noble cause purely charity work! We sell in a pack of 4 different designs. Thank you and God bless you as you think about spreading the News and buying yourself a pack
